A Halloween Tale: They Only Come Out At Dusk!
This Halloween tale is totally fictitious, and any resemblance to any person living or dead is purely coincidental, or is it? True beauty doesn't come from a jar or surgeon's scalpel. It comes from within, and is absolutely free. Women are constantly subjecting themselves to torture--- in their pursuit of beauty and perfection. Thus, they endure the discomfort of having fat sucked from their stomach, so they can look great in a bikini. I was recently engaged in a scholarly review of the new Chris Rock documentary "Good Hair," and when it was over, I was, appalled by the idea that some people actually believe a woman's hair texture, is a crucial factor in determining her self- worth. The 80's: The Decade of Greed, Sleaze and Boredom!
With the exception of big hair, great music, and the dismantling of the Berlin Wall, the 80's were hardly memorable. However, for those who reveled in the Reagan presidency, it was a great time to be an American. For others, it was a disastrous era that couldn't end soon enough.
